Native
Texan M.W. Moore is a former four-time NCAA qualifier and All-American
track and field champion who attended Mississippi State University
studying Industrial Technology.
“For
What I Hate I Do” is the first in a trilogy that explores
the turbulent life of a handsome, ambitious young athlete with so
much potential but whose dreams are compromised for a life of living
on the edge.
Moore
says of his convictions for the book’s plot:
“I
believe Miguel Morris’s misery is a true message for all readers.
So many times we get caught up with the way we think and feel about
people, places and things. Ignorance affects our ability to think
rationally, which can lead to a host of fears, addictions and anger.
Additionally, the lack of knowledge may prevent us from realizing
our poor judgment. It is my intent to heighten awareness of my readers,
so they can recognize that healing begins with self-worth, self-forgiveness
and daily prayer.
“My
past encounters with crack cocaine, bank robberies, sexual addictions
and internal wars have provided me with a platform like none other
for this work of fiction, based on real-life experiences. When I
should have been thinking of graduation, Olympics and a modeling
career, my goals, instead, were swallowed up or vaporized by worldly
temptations.
“Like
many athletes who have lost focus in the past I have since come
to realize the search for fame and fortune by any means necessary
comes at a high price.”
Currently, author M.W. Moore lives in his hometown
of Houston and is
completing the sequel to "FWIHID." So, look for the expected
blockbuster
sequel when "Internal Chaos" is released soon.
